Are you an international customer who wants to order Flinn Books?  Here's a step-by-step guide so you can get our materials!

In order to place the order and access the books, you will first need to create an account.  Flinn Scientific does not have the ability to create accounts outside the United States, so we created a special “School” that has a US address, but is used for international schools buying digital products.

To create an account, you will go to the website www.flinnsci.com.  

  • At the top of the page, it says, Log In.  

  • When you hover over Log In, there is a box that pops up.  

  • At the bottom of that, there is a link to Register.  Click that link.  

  • The registration form will have you enter your name, email address, and create a password.  Then it will ask you if you are registering as an employee or representative of a school or educational institution.  

  • Click Yes, then a box will pop up asking for your zip code.  Enter 60510.  Several schools will populate with that zip code.  You will choose INTERNATIONAL-DIGITAL ONLY at 770 N Raddant Road, Batavia, IL 60510.  For me, it shows as the last entry.

  • It will then ask you for your role at the school.  If you are going to be using one of the POGIL books, be sure to choose Teacher as the role.  Do not choose Department Chair even if you are one.  Enter a discipline (if there is one) and then click the thing to agree to Terms of Service and Create Account.  Once that is done, go ahead and start the order for your POGIL books. 

When you place the order, it will ask for the email address for the end user so the book license can be assigned.  Please have the end user for each of the books create his or her own account so they can access the books after the payment has been received.  
Speaking of payment, it’s possible that you will have trouble with the billing information if the billing address for the card is not in the United States.  Some cards seem to work while others don’t.  If you are not able to get your card to work, you can choose to enter a PO number.  Just choose Credit Terms with PO.  In that field, you can enter “Wire Transfer.”  Then, once the order is processed, you can set up a wire transfer for the payment.
Once the order has been fully processed, you will be able to access the POGIL books on our FlinnPAVO website.  Instructions to access these will be sent when the order is entered.
